I had an interesting essay and good grades inNov 06 2011Animal Studies
I had an interesting essay and good grades in high school (A's and B's) and decent ACT score (29) also good reccomendations help.
ACT: 29 SAT: 1920 Female
I focused on extracurriculars like sports, clubs and jobsAug 02 2011PreMed and Medical
I focused on extracurriculars like sports, clubs and jobs while maintaining a B/B+ average. I also did very well on the SAT's. I recommend finding one or two extracurriculars that you enjoy and do everything you can in that area (getting a leadership role, participating in all of the activities, etc.) Having strong involvement in one or two things is much more desirable to schools than being involved in ten different things without actually doing much of anything. Also, take challenging classes, schools respect you for challenging yourself and see that you want to push yourself to be the best.

Good Grades. Good SATS. Don't go all out on extracurriculars. Its very black and white. IF you have the grades and scores, you will get in.
